Rideline Car and Limo Service – Terms & Conditions
General Terms:
These Service Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Rideline Car and Limo Service. By using our services, you agree to these terms. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Last updated: January 7th, 2025.
Pricing and Charges
- All fares subject to change without notice
- Rate estimates exclude tolls, gratuity, waiting time, and additional stops
- NYS Sales Tax (8.625% – 8.725%) applies based on location
- 20% default gratuity for all vehicle types
- Airport parking fees: $12 – $25 (For Meet & Greet)
Additional Stops and Waiting Time
Additional stop charges will be applied based on your specific location and route. Once the vehicle arrives at an added stop, waiting time charges will begin (after 5 minutes) accruing at a per-minute rate, which varies according to your vehicle category.
To ensure optimal service and accurate pricing, we strongly recommend passengers notify us of any additional stops at the time of booking, either through our online reservation system or when booking by phone.

- Variable based on location and route
- Waiting time: Charged per minute
- Rate structure: Determined by vehicle category
Please note: Failure to pre-book additional stops may result in adjusted final charges and could impact schedule reliability for subsequent bookings.
For the most accurate pricing and efficient service planning, please include all intended stops in your initial reservation.
Hourly Service Requirements
- Minimum booking: 4 hours for car services, 6 hours for Limo
- 20 miles radius limit from pickup location
- Distance-based rates apply beyond radius
Toll Charges (Round Trip)
- Manhattan to LaGuardia: $6.90
- Manhattan to JFK: $6.90
- JFK Airport to Manhattan $6.90
- Manhattan to Newark: $15 – $50
- Long Island to NYC car service: $14.80
- Long Island to Newark Airport: $35 to $45
- Connecticut to JFK car service, LGA: $12 to $20
Reservation Policies:
Changes and Cancellations
- All changes must be submitted via phone, email, or website at least 6 hours before pickup
- Deposits are non-refundable if canceled less than 6 hours before trip
- Full refund provided for cancellations made 6+ hours in advance (10 business days processing)
- Wedding/Prom cancellations: 10 days notice required or 100% charge applies
Text Message Policy
- Standard text messaging and data rates may apply based on your wireless carrier plan
- By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive automated text messages
- Text messages may include trip confirmations, driver updates, and service notifications
- You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP to any message
Payment Terms
- Credit card pre-approval required
- 100% preliminary hold placed for anticipated total
- Processing occurs 2 business days before scheduled trip
- Virtual/single-use credit cards not accepted
Electronic Payment Authorization
By booking our services online or over the phone, you explicitly authorize Rideline to charge your provided credit card for the full amount of services. Your booking submission or verbal agreement serves as your electronic signature, authorizing us to process payment according to the following terms:
- You acknowledge and authorize the scheduled payment processing 48 hours before your trip
- You confirm that you are the authorized user of the credit card provided
- You agree that your booking submission or verbal confirmation constitutes an electronic signature
- You authorize payment processing without requiring a physical signature
- You accept that this authorization remains valid for any additional charges related to your service, including but not limited to waiting time, additional stops, or other supplementary fees
This electronic authorization is legally binding and equivalent to a physical signature on a credit card transaction.
Fraudulent Payment Policy
Rideline is not liable for and will not issue refunds for services rendered when payment is made using stolen, fraudulent, or unauthorized credit cards. All charges for services provided will remain valid and due regardless of the payment method’s authorization status. The customer assumes full responsibility for ensuring legitimate payment methods are used.
In cases where fraudulent payment is detected:
- The full fare amount remains payable
- Service charges will not be refunded
- The matter may be reported to relevant authorities
- Account holders will be held responsible for all charges
- Legal action may be pursued to recover payment
We reserve the right to verify payment methods and may require additional authentication for suspicious transactions to protect both our customers and our business.

Billing and Cancellation Policy
Payment Schedule:
– Full payment will be charged 2 days (48 hours) prior to your scheduled trip time
– Your credit card will be securely processed for the total trip amount
Cancellation and Refund Terms
- Full refund available for cancellations made at least 6 hours before scheduled pickup time
- Cancellations made less than 6 hours before scheduled service are non-refundable
- All approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method
- Refund processing time: 5-7 business days
Please note:
- Refund processing time depends on your financial institution
- The refund will appear on your statement according to your bank’s processing schedule
- Your booking confirmation email serves as verification of these terms

Airport Pickup Waiting Time
- 45-minute free waiting time for domestic flights
- 60-minute free waiting time for international flights
- 30-minute free waiting time for cruise pickups
- Default Airport pickup is curbside
- Inside pickup available for additional $50 plus parking
Affiliate Service Policy
- Rideline Car and Limo Service may utilize affiliates to provide limousine and ground transportation services
- Vehicle images on our fleet page may differ from actual vehicles
Service Rules:
1. No smoking in vehicles
2. No pets (service animals excepted)
3. No standing through sunroof
4. Vehicle capacity limits strictly enforced
5. Overtime charges: $1.50/minute (sedans/EV), $2.50/minute (SUV’s/limos)
6. No-show policy: Full charge after 20 minutes
7. Client responsible for damage ($1000 fee per carpet/seat damage)
Liability Limitations
Not responsible for:
- Mechanical breakdowns
- Flat Tire
- Weather-related delays
- Lost articles
- Missed flights
- Circumstances beyond reasonable control
- Liability limited to actual damages not exceeding total fare paid
- No consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages
